Basic hygiene items are provided to the inmate and additional hygiene items can be purchased from commissary.   There are other items that may be brought for inmates if they desire to have them.  Most of those items must be new and unopened and are at the discretion of staff.

The following is a list of additional items that may be brought to the Dubois County Security Center:

• Eyeglasses (reading or other)
• Contact lenses/contact solution – Solution must be un-opened and in packaging
• Socks – Must be primarily white in color, new, un-opened packaging
• Underwear – Must be primarily white in color, new, un-opened packaging
• No T-shirts or Bras containing an underwire will be accepted.
